How It Is Made

1. Selecting the Nendran

Mildly firm, sweet, good-quality Nendran bananas are carefully selected to achieve the right texture and flavour.

3. Frying

The slices are traditionally fried until crisp and golden.

The coated chips are cooled completely, allowing the jaggery to set into a delicate, crunchy coating.
